Yoga and Ayurveda For Fall: Learn How To Navigate The Changing Seasons
Living in the North, our lives and environment can change quite dramatically during the Fall season. Learn lessons from Ayurveda – the “science of life” – on how to gracefully achieve and maintain balance as the world around us gets drier and cooler. Air and Ether (Space), known as Vata Dosa in Ayurveda, are the predominant elements this time of year and can wreak havoc on our systems and psyches. Enjoy a grounding, vata-balancing yoga practice along with meditation and breath-work to soothe your body-mind. We will then have a conversation around food and lifestyle practices that can be extra-nourishing for the season.

Mindfulness – The New Science of Health and Happiness
This course will investigate the science, theories and practices of mindfulness.  Discover why slowing down and staying present can lead to a happier, less stressed life.  The topics of study will include brain science “neuroplasticity”, deep breathing techniques, meditation and the inextricable connection of the body and mind to elevate ones emotional, physical, mental and social well-being.
